Research and Feasibility Studies Centre
The
Research and Feasibility Studies Centre was established by Taiz
Governor’s decree number (17) for the year 2007 dated the 2nd
of May 2007 and Taiz University Rector’s resolution number (109)
for the year 2007 dated the 8th of May 2007.
The establishment of the Centre came as a result of the Taiz
Governorate and Taiz University leadership’s belief of the
importance of offering services in the fields of research and
studies for the biggest sector possible of seeking such
services.
Centre Objectives:
1.
The Centre aims at offering services of planning and
implementing research and feasibility studies. The Centre more
specifically aims at:
A.
Providing consultation and carrying out research relating to
local development.
B.
Offering objective visions and solutions based on practical
scientific research and studies on the requirements of local
development in general and human resources development in
particular
C.
Studying the local environment as a versatile investment
environment in the context of expanding the investment fields
and diversifying them and offering visions on investment
opportunities that can be promoted and presented to investors
and the ways of overcoming obstacles hindering investment
activities
D.
Studying the reality of industrial, vocational and crafts
establishments for the purpose of evaluating them and
contributing to their development
E.
Carrying out feasibility studies for investment activities and
programs to provide the conditions for their success
F.
Contributing
to the set up of a multi-purpose data base to serve the
development requirements at all its levels and dimensions
